"I Work On The Human Side Of The Funeral Industry And Recognize The Good From The Not-So-Good"
This was the first time I’ve had to make arrangements for a family pet. I work on the human side of the funeral industry and recognize the good from the not-so-good. I chose aquamation for the gentleness of the process. Tyler and his staff at Heavenly Paws far exceeded my expectations. I felt as comfortable as possible with leaving our sweet dog in their care. They allowed me all the time I needed to say goodbye. They can even accommodate a whole family coming in to say a final goodbye to a beloved pet. From the initial phone call with Tyler until I picked up Penny’s remains, they treated her, and us, with dignity and respect. Their pricing is fair and reasonable; their service is priceless! I will only use Heavenly Paws when the need arises with our second dog.

"I Was Lucky Enough To Have A Friend Who Found This Place, Vetted Them And Took On Everything!"
Earlier last week I lost my little princess. I only had her for 10 years but it seems like a blink of an eye. I was lucky enough to have a friend who found this place, vetted them and took on everything! Allowing me grieve. The whole process was very compassionate. No up-sale they just let me have my goodbyes and allowed me my space. I tried to hold it all in but when they brought her back out in that cheesy table with the flowers and bone blankie. It was just what I needed. My little girl knows what go nite nite meant and she slept like this every nite. So the moment I saw her it all came out. Thank you heavenly paws. i just got her home and am waiting on her urn/memorial to display her.

"The Time Had Come To Make A Decision About Kitty’s Suffering As His Kidney Disease Progressed"
The time had come to make a decision about kitty’s suffering as his kidney disease progressed. Once we made the decision that it was time, we took him to Heavenly Paws and were greeted by the nicest and kindest people. The facility is quiet and peaceful, no loud barking dogs. people with their fur babies coming and going, or the stress of visiting the vets office. It was a humane and gentle process and we were able to spend as much time as we wanted with him without being rushed through the process. He was peaceful and relaxed. We were happy for him that Heavenly Paws helped him peacefully over the rainbow.

"If You Need Services Such As These, Heavenly Paws Is The Only Place I Would Recommend"
Our nearly 20 year old cat passed away and Heavenly Paws did a tremendous job of helping us along the way. They coordinated with a vet close to our home to provide in-home services but ultimately were not needed. When we arrived with our beloved kitty that somber morning, Tyler and his team gave us the support and time we needed. Less than a week later they notified us our boy was ready for us. Again, when we arrived Tyler and his team greeted us with warmth and care while asking how we were dealing with everything. Then they showed us all the items from the package we purchased. Considering the circumstances we could not have asked for a better experience. If you need services such as these, Heavenly Paws is the only place I would recommend.

"Highly Recommend!"
Highly Recommend!
The employees are excellent, they are always very respectful and understanding of people who feel like the loss of a pet is very significant. They don’t act like it’s a business. I was very impressed every time I spoke with anyone on the phone or met them in person. I like that aquamation is environmentally friendly, and the remains are returned to you in a biodegradable container. I got a paw print on canvas and a lock of hair and a HAND WRITTEN note. I would 100% recommend this company to a friend or relative.

"I am so very thankful for the service that this company provided to our little family"
I am so very thankful for the service that this company provided to our little family. On the heels of another recent review, my little guinea pig (a small exotic pet), Sweetie passed away very unexpectedly after a quick illness. My son and I cared for her for three years and were close to her. Personally, having had a serious bout with blood cancer, I got her as soon as I was released from the hospital and she was an incredible companion to me while I was homebound for close to a year. She was the sweetest little girl and I was and still am heartbroken over her passing.
I don’t have the physical strength to bury her at home and I wanted to take her to a place that I hoped would care for her properly and also take the loss of such a small, non-traditional pet, seriously. I also knew that I wanted her remains to remain private – I wanted to receive only her remains back. Having read a review about a hamster on here, I called and spoke with Tyler who told me I could bring her in on short notice that same day that I called. The staff was very kind and accommodating. There was a slight hiccup through no fault of their own with one of the rooms being occupied with a previous appointment which I completely understood – even still they went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure we were comfortable when we left.
When I returned to pick her up the following week, they had been kind enough to include an additional keepsake in recognition of the slight delay at drop-off (again, the drop-off ran smoothly and I was very happy with it). I greatly appreciate them recognizing that and offering something additional. It’s actually something I had meant to order but was so upset that I forgot to.
I drove in from Marietta – between the two trips I invested a few hours of driving (I only had Fridays for drop-off and pick-up)… but I would do so again in a heartbeat and recommend this business to anyone else who’s needing these services. Thank you all again!
UPDATE: Sadly, I lost my piggy Reesie recently after she fought lymphoma for two months. It was difficult knowing that she was going to pass, but it was comforting to know that she would receive her aftercare from Heavenly Paws. I knew that when the time came they would care for her (and me) properly and provide me with lovely keepsakes. Their new location looks great and is cozy – I drove in from Marietta, and it was easy to find. Cat/Kat was extremely kind and compassionate. I was quite emotional, so it was nice to have her there to help me with everything. She’s very knowledgeable about their services and genuinely cares for the pets and their owners. Even though I had been there previously, she was super helpful explaining the process and what to expect. They were a little busy when I dropped my Reesie off, but she took her time with me – I was apologizing for my additional requests because I felt badly that there was a lot going on and she reassured me that she was there to help me and not to worry about timing… she took such great care of me and my sweet Reesie from my initial phone call until after I picked my keepsakes up.
I was so thankful and impressed that they included a lovely clay paw print plate with my order at no charge. I debated whether or not to purchase it, but decided to forgo it. When I picked up my items, Kat told me that they wanted me to have the same items that I had received when they cared for my Sweetie during my first visit, that they included it free of charge. That was a lovely surprise and made me very happy!
Sorry for the lengthy review, but I just can’t say enough great things about Heavenly Paws. Hopefully I will not be needing their services for a long time, but when I do, I’ll definitely be returning!

"All Conversations Were Professional, Warm, Sincere And Comforting"
Love.
What can I say. When we are vulnerable and needy and just want the peace of mind that everything will be taken care of – Heavenly Paws was dreamy.
I just read in another post that communal ashes are spread over farmland in one of the Carolinas. Ah – that makes me so happy. I love Asheville (no pun…sorry….) so I hope it is as beautiful.
All conversations were professional, warm, sincere and comforting. Thank you Cat (Kat is probably how she spells it but..I like to think it is Cat). While I like to remember my babies with pictures and memories, I appreciate they have options such as paw prints and urns and the like.
They alerted me as soon as they had my boy in their custody and it created such peace of mind. Knowing even at the last moment, he will be taken care of. My baby was a gorgeous, shep/dane dragon dog and I cannot believe 8 years and he is gone. But from the vet to Heavenly Paws, he was appreciated and respected.
Like I told them, I hope I don’t need your services anytime soon….but if I do, I will reach out with confidence knowing at one of the most difficult times, they will be there.

"The Staff Was Very Warm And Welcoming During Such A Sad Time"
The staff was very warm and welcoming during such a sad time. Our Harvey lived a great life, almost 16 years and Heavenly Paws was nothing less than accommodating to our needs. We are very happy to have found them.

"Losing Fur Family Is Hard And Having Somebody Who Cares Helps Ease The Pain."
We had the unexpected loss of our pet rabbit, Truffles and decided to have her Aquamated by Heavenly Paws. Can’t say enough about Cat. She called me on the same day to tell me they had picked her up from the vet, she called me to confirm everything we wanted done (ink paw print and clay paw impression); she sent me a proof of the inscription of the urn to approve, and she met with me when I picked up Truffles. She even offered to stay late on the day I picked up Truffles in case traffic was bad. The urn was very pretty and all the extra details were well done. We will always have something tangible to remember Truffles by and were glad that we picked Heavenly Paws to handle her. Losing fur family is hard and having somebody who cares helps ease the pain.

"Thank You, Kat, For Taking Care Of All Of The Details Of This Incredibly Painful Process"
Thank you, Kat, for taking care of all of the details of this incredibly painful process so that we didn’t have to think about them. We grieve Korra’s absence every day, but we are thankful to have found Heavenly Paws to take care of her at the end.

"We Highly Recommend Heavenly Paws"
The unthinkable happened over the holidays. My wife and I lost both of our dogs to old age. My wife’s beautiful chow mix passed away New Years eve, my little Yorkie died in her sleep several days later. Tyler took our girls in, though neither passed on regular business days, and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbye’s. Our girls were treated with the utmost care and dignity, while Tyler’s soft spoken demeanor made us feel comfortable and valued.
Tyler went above and beyond all expectations and although we don’t look forward to needing his services anytime in the near future, we highly recommend Heavenly Paws to anyone who does.

"There Are No Words That Can Adequately Describe The Wonderful Care"
There are no words that can adequately describe the wonderful care Heavenly Paws provides. I lost my sweet dog, Bruno, just under a week ago. After searching several different facilities, my thoughts kept returning to Heavenly Paws. The care they provide was evident from their website alone. Pets are family and the way they are treated after passing should be the same as any other family member, and Heavenly Paws understands that.
From the moment I stepped in the door and was greeted by Cat until the moment I picked up my sweet little boy, today, both he and I were treated with dignity and respect. Not only is this a wonderful green and humane way of memorializing your pet but it is such a loving and beautiful way. My heart was very heavy dealing with Bruno’s passing, but I have been able to make some progress of peace with it knowing he was treated as if he were a member of their family as well. Great job, Tyler!

"They Really Go The Extra Mile In Explaining The Process"
We lost our two senior cats within two weeks of one another. Cat and Tyler were so kind and helpful to us during this time. They really go the extra mile in explaining the process of aquamation. We knew after speaking with Cat over the phone that we had made the right choice. The Gentle Farewell Package was perfect for our needs and I am so grateful that it includes not only a paw print but a clipping of our babies’ fur. This has been a heart wrenching time for us but Heavenly Paws has made it easier. We are eternally grateful to them.

"Friendly and loving staff at Heveanly Paws"
We lost our beautiful, lovely boy Sky suddenly. He was the sweetest cat ever. He was only 8 years old. We are still devastated, however the friendly and loving staff at Heveanly Paws made us feel very comforted in this hard time. We love the service provided and was so happy that we can take our boy back home where he belongs. Everything was well done and they even provided us with a sympathy card. I am thankful for this place and all they have done for our beloved Sky. Thank you.
